25 Years Of Cycling

Since 1996 the EuroEyes Cyclassics are the Hamburg Cycling Race for Professionals and Age Groupers. For the 25th time, the race in the Elbe metropolis will thrill around 18,000 expected participants and over 500,000 spectators. Since the premiere edition, over 400,000 participants have already been part of the race, which has long since achieved cult status in the Hanseatic city. Whether as rookie or veteran - the EuroEyes Cyclassics are a must-do event for everyone in Hamburg's summer of sport. After the cycling classic could not take place in 2020 due to the worldwide corona crisis, we look hopefully to the future and want to do our part on the way back to normality together with you, the city of Hamburg and the communities in Schleswig-Holstein when we celebrate the late 25th anniversary in 2021. Let’s race again!

The course finishes on the "Mönckebergstraße" in the heart of the Hanseatic city and was tested, enjoyed and conquered thousands of times by both amateures and the world's best pro riders. You can start on your road-, mountain- or even citybike. Completely closed roads guarantee for best security and our registration system ensures that you start along with similarly skilled riders.

You only live once. And it's up to you to make it something special. The EuroEyes Cyclassics offer you the opportunity to prove yourself and fight your inner couch potato. The feeling afterwards remains for eternity.

Germany's most spectacular UCI World Tour Race

Immediately after you, the best cyclists in the world fight for every second on the same course. The EuroEyes Cyclassics are part of a selected circle of professional cycling races around the world - the UCI World Tour, which also includes the Tour de France amongst others.

The starter field remains unmatched. In recent years, the world's top sprinters have always been at the start. The pro race covers 220 km and finishes in the afternoon, which is a huge spectacle in front of thousands of fans on the Mönckebergstraße. After the Italian Elia Viviani was able to defend the title for the second time in a row in 2019, the cycling world is more than curious to see who will be crowned Hamburg's champion in 2021.

The race weekend starts on saturday with some amazing side events. The extra fast race formats EuroEyes Cyclassics Battle powered by RAD RACE and the EuroEyes Cyclassics Kids Race amaze spectators on the Mönckebergstraße in the middle of the city. On the previous days, the international cycling talents at the EuroEyes Youngclassics also measure themselves on several stages. A high-quality exhibition and supporting program on Rathausmarkt and Jungfernstieg, with over 80 exhibitors from the lifestyle and outdoor industry, as well as information, entertainment and hands-on activities complete the event. Up to 650,000 spectators and visitors are expected for Hamburgs No.1 cycling weekend.
